Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman’s announced visit to Bangkok from 14 to 18 October includes the annual IMF–World Bank meetings and discussions with other finance ministers.
The Finance Ministry’s itinerary also lists G20 and G7 finance meetings and bilateral engagements. Topics include economic conditions, financial cooperation and development priorities.
Meetings with Thailand’s finance minister and IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva are among the planned engagements. The itinerary describes scheduled discussions; it does not establish that every meeting has taken place or that any financing agreement has been reached.
